The process for admission to the Accelerated and Enrichment Program and Infinity Institute for September 2024 begins with an online application. The application process is only open to 5th or 6th grade students currently residing in Jersey City.
Online applications can be accessed through this link starting Thursday, March 28, 2024, at noon. Completed applications must be submitted by Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
In addition, school counselors and personnel from Jersey City Public Schools and the non-public, parochial, charter, and private schools attended an informational meeting. As a result, they will provide details regarding the application process.
All 5th and 6th grade Jersey City Public School students who apply to AEP and Infinity Institute will take the OLSAT assessment in their schools during the week of April 22, 2024.
In addition, students from the non-public, parochial, charter, private, and homeschooled Jersey City residents can test on one of two Saturdays in May. The OLSAT will be administered at Franklin Williams, MS #7, 222 Laidlaw Avenue on May 4, 2024. Joseph H. Brensinger School, PS #17 located at 600 Bergen Avenue will be the testing site on May 11, 2024.
