Jersey City public School District has been recognized as a 2022 Summer Meals Champion by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service, Mid-Atlantic Region.
Nominated by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, Jersey City school administrators provided meals not only to the schools within their district but also to community partners' sites, such as Boys and Girls Clubs, early childcare centers, and sports camps.
