Infinity Institute

As the school year comes to almost a close, we have some exciting news to share about our students in Infinity Institute! We wish them all the best.

1. Infinity student, Idhant Sharma (8th grader), is a recipient of this year's National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Outstanding Achievement Award.  As shared on the NJHS website, "The National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes middle-level students for their commitment to the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The 500 NJHS students selected for the Outstanding Achievement Award receive a $500 college savings plan to support their educational aspirations." Only 500 students are selected from the 50 states.
 
2. Jalynn Branch, 10th grader, has been accepted into the 2023 Jersey City Medical Center Summer Internship Program. For six weeks in the summers, she will be working in one of the hospital's departments under the guidance of a professional mentor.

3.  Aleena Bhatti (10th grader) and Camila Pena (11th grader) have been accepted to the School of Visual Arts Pre-College Summer Program.

4.  Janhitha Veeramachaneni, (10th grader) has been selected as 1 of 7 fellows to participate in the New Jersey Leadership program this summer.   The New Jersey Leadership Program (NJLP) is a non-partisan, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to promoting South Asian American youth participation and education at the local level of government in the State of New Jersey. Through her acceptance, she will have the opportunity to intern at a state level government office and develop a civic engagement project that will positively impact the community.
